Augusta Poster Show 2025

I was selected as one of the 30 artists who got to participate in the Augusta Poster Show for 2025. I’m a relative newbie to living in Augusta, so it was extra special to be invited to join in on this awesome event. It was such a cool way to bring the art community together- I think every city needs to do their own rendition of this!

Our only prompt was “Augusta”, the city which we live, and it was so cool to see how different everyone’s interpretations were. One of my favorite things about art in general.

Having not grown up in Augusta, or even lived in the south for very long, there’s a lot that stands out to me and I wanted to include those things in my design. Beautiful old southern houses, giant magnolia blossoms, churches everywhere, waffle houses everywhere, trees on trees on trees, friendly and talkative strangers, the beautiful Savanah river, the Masters, and one million percent more animals/bugs than I’ve ever been used to seeing!
